Just completed one more self-drive road trip to Uttaranchal in India. This time we went closer to Himalaya and meandered along rivers like Kali, Gauri, Kali, Ramganga exploring places like Champawat, Pithoragarh, Jauljibi, Dharchula, Madkote, Munsiyari, Birthi, Thal, Almora, Bhimtal etc. Just a quick view of the trip for you all, more to follow soon…….
After Sangla and Chhitkul, this was yet another wonderful road trip closer to Himalaya. I have fall in love with Clouds, Mountains, River, Valleys, people and Roads. Loved every bit of this trip and high point was unexplored and adventurous road from Dharchula to Munsiyari from Jauljibi and Madkote.
This was just a glimpse…more to follow. Stay tuned!!

Gorgeous pictures and awesome clouds!

Gorgeous pictures and awesome clouds! Uttarakhand has become my favourite for all mountain activities but I must admit, I’ve never been to this route. Quite empty also. There wasn’t any other vehicle. 🙂
