Top 10 Candid Travel Photographs Of 2015

Picture4Though I have already rounded up 2015 with my awesome highlights of 2015, but incredible moments of 2015 are stuck deep in mind and giving a jolt of nostalgia as I enter 2016. During the ongoing long weekend that started on 31st Dec 2015 and to end on 3rd Jan 2016, we opted out of traveling & welcoming New Year with friends & family. The joy of flipping through thousands of photographs shot in 2015 is overwhelming.

We traveled from the middle Tibet i.e. Trans Himalayan region of Spiti Valley to Centre of India i.e. Chhattisgarh & Madhya Pradesh. From Himalayan to Narmada, nature threw myriad surprises onto us and we tried to capture them with best of our capabilities.

So while taking a fond look back at the thrilling experiences of 2015, we are awestruck on few photographs primarily because of the imposing natural beauty and also because of the efforts putting in by us  to reach those places. Every moment captured in these photographs was unique and as they say each of these photographs speaks thousand words.

Even after 2 years of blogging, still the aim is same to inspire everyyone of you to move out of the safety of the mundane everyday life and hit the road to explore the world. So, here come top 10 candid travel photographs from my traveling days of 2015 with a hope that they would inspire you 🙂

  1. Paddy Fields From Chhattisgarh

    Freshly rained Paddy Fields dotted with date trees were an awesome experinece from Chhattisgarh – The Land Of Surpirses.

  2. Finding Buddha In The Lost Town Of Sirpur, Chhattisgarh

    In the lost town of Sirpur, Finding Buddha everywhere was a great surprise. Acknowledging the importance of Sirpur in the evolution of Buddhism, HH Dalai Lama has visited this place twice. More than 1000 years old excavated Teevardev Monastery and Anand Vihara Complex tell the Buddha tales from this yet to be explored place in Chhattisgarh.

  3. Golden Hour Shot from Barnawapara Wild Life Sanctuary, Chhattisgarh

    This Golden Hour shot was taken inside the Barnawapara Wildlife Sanctuary during Monsoon Season. This beautiful water body amidst lush green surrounding of the sanctuary exuded all the shades of Blue and orange during sunset. Landscape was refreshingly colorful and soul soothing.

  4. Two Fishing Man & A Boat From Central India

    This Silhouette of two man on a boat was shot somewhere in Central India during our road trip to Chhattisgarh from Delhi. The Sepia color is original which makes it so much romantic and gives a medieval charm to it.

  5. A  Spiritual Morning Next To Dhuandhar Water Fall In Bhedaghat

    Jabalpur, Water fall, Narmada, Dhanuadhar water fall, Madhya Pradesh, Bhedaghat

    For me since long the color of spirituality is Golden-orangish-Saffron and during surise ,to me, everything seems completely drenched in spirituality. So the early morning hour,  while seeing the ever-flowing, all-revered Narmada taking a plunge & forming a dramatic Dhuandhar Fall invoked a definitve sense of deep spirituality in me. 

  6. A Drive Through Bhoram Dev Wild Life Sanctuary, Chhattisgarh

    Golden hour capture amidst Teak Wood Forest of Bhoram Deo Wildllife Santuary on the way to Bhoram Deo Temple, Chhattisgarh in India.

    During 2500 KM road trip to & fro Chhattisgarh, photographer in me found the solace here while clicking Golden Hour Sunrays filtering through dense Teak Wood Forest of Bhoram Deo Wildllife Santuary in Chhattisgarh.

  7. Langza Village in Spiti Valley: Most Photogenic Village

    In Spiti Valley at 14000 feet, Langza Village with a Population of 150 people is a high himalayan village. I truly, madly, deeply believe that this is the most photogenic village of the world. Sugar cubed houses, a giant buddha staue, rugged mountain terrain, snowpeaked backdrop and clear blue sky make this a very fascinating village on planet earth.

  8. Spiti Valley Where Every Shot Is Wallpaper Worthy

    Spiti valley is the crowning glory among all the offbeat, adventurous travel destinations of India. Every moment spent in Spiti Valley, a close sibling to Ladakh, fills you with joy and every moment captured here is a wallpaper worthy moment. Paradise for every road tripper, traveler and photographer.

  9. Kinner Kailash Range From Roghi Village Near Kalpa

    Kinnaur, Kinner Kailash near Kalpa shot from Roghi village. Himachal Pradesh on the way to SPiti valley.

    The Kinner Kailash or Kinnaur Kailash at a height of 6050 meters is sacred place for Hindus. Roghi Village near Kalpa offers most spendid view of this imposingly beautiful mountain range. The day we reached Kalpa, The Sun, The Cloud, The Snow, The Mountain joyfully created best drama of colors and hues for us. Golden snow peak and blue sky on backdrop ennhanced the neauty of the Kinner Kailash Range.

  10. Mountain Road To Fairyland Called Chandratal

    Chandfratal, Lahaul, Kunzum Top. Spiti, Lahaul, Rpad Trip, Himalaya, Spiti RIver, Landscape, Hatchback, Ford Figo, Blog, Travelogue

    The 12 KM link road to Chandratal Lake is the most trecherous road of Himachal Pradesh. However, it offers majectic view of Kunjum Ranges and takes you to the fairyland of Chandratal lake.
